Central village location, spacious outdoor seating area, range of entertainment options
The steep stairways could use a better accessibility solution!!! More consistency in upkeep of room furnishings is needed to enhance comfort!!! It felt frustrating during peak times when service took forever!!!

The cleanliness and comfort of the twin room were great, but the service had some hiccups, like long wait times for food and staff issues. Despite that, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff made our time enjoyable, and I would definitely revisit in the future.

Perfect pit stop!
Had a fab stay here! The staff were super friendly and gave us a cozy booth for dinner. Loved the gluten-free options, that burger bun was ⭐ amazing! Our dog was chillin’ while we ate, which was a nice touch. Only downside was the noise from the road, could hear it a bit too much.

We had a lovely overnight stay, enjoying the stunning sunset walk by the lake and the delicious full English breakfast. It was nice to relax with tea and fresh milk in the room after a long trip. The only downside was a bit of confusion with our dinner reservation, as there was a mix-up with table availability.

The quaint charm of the inn's decor reminded me of my grandmother's cozy living room, complete with floral patterns and warm lighting that made everything feel like a big hug. The accessibility helped me feel at ease navigating around.
Stairs could be challenging for those with mobility issues.

Lovely pub with amazing staff!
We had such a fun stay! The staff were super friendly and even fussed over our sausage dogs, which was adorable. The location is perfect, right near the beautiful hills. We enjoyed chilling at the bar/lounge area, but the room could’ve been a bit cleaner. Can’t wait to visit again!

Those homemade muffins at breakfast were pure magic! The cozy bar with log burners kept us warm and fuzzy. Plus, the hearty meals had us coming back for more!
The gents' toilets had an overpowering aroma, which wasn't ideal. the pillows were a tad too thick for my liking. Small nibbles, but worth mentioning. Huge thanks to the staff—you truly shine!

The room was nice and clean, really liked the balcony it gave a great view. Staff were super helpful, dinner and breakfast both hit the spot.
Sure it wasn't cheap but still acceptable, if you're looking for a decent place.

missingWrote a review on Jan 23delicious foodclean roomdirty cushionspoor staff demeanor
The breakfast menu impressed me with a variety of options. Each morning, the dishes were delicious and freshly prepared. The table settings looked perfect, adding to the dining experience. Room No. 7 offered breathtaking views, and I loved relaxing on the balcony. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed with high-quality linens. The staff greeted us warmly. not all aspects were great. The cushions on the bed had noticeable stains, which felt out of place against the otherwise fresh bedding. One staff member's abrupt demeanor during our inquiry about early check-in made us feel unwelcome. A simple explanation would have made a difference. During breakfast, I noticed a lack of courtesy from the staff when clearing the plates. It's important for hospitality to involve pleasant interactions, especially for special occasions like an anniversary. These little things impacted our overall enjoyment, given the room rates.
